Traditional Viennese cuisine in a traditional Viennese inn
The Viennese cuisine is known worldwide and is certainly one of the cuisines that is actually close to the people, as many Viennese families regularly cook the traditional Viennese way. And in Vienna, it is almost a tradition when going out to eat "eat like at home". From Tafelspitz to a Fritattensuppe, from Wiener Schnitzel to baked liver, to Kaiserschmarrn or a real Viennese Sachertorte. And it is a clear and discussable matter of course that in the Wiener Wirtschaft no convenience products are used and exclusively freshly cooked, because pleasure meets coziness in the Wiener Wirtschaft.

A century-old hotel in Vienna
The Hotel Erzherzog Rainer, which houses the Wiener Wirtschaft restaurant, celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013. And it truly a turbulent century, with two world wars, major social changes and an undeniable change of times. And for over 100 years, the Hotel Erzherzog Rainer, named after the actual Viennese Archduke Rainer, and the Wiener Wirtschaft, the traditional inn in true Viennese style, has been an institution in the 4th district. Viennese hospitality has been practiced here for 100 years and hospitality continues to be a priority. Here applies: pleasure meets coziness!

Fantastic setting for a quiet dinner with excellent food and an amazing selection of drinks.
Can't fault this place in the slightest or praise it highly enough. Amazing setting, great food, excellent drinks selection with amazing staff, and all for a very reasonable price!
I came with my wife as a part of our honeymoon, and this dinner was the highlight of our time in Vienna!
I was especially impressed with how polite, patient and professional the staff were, from the concierge at the front desk who kindly guided us to the restaurant (I believe her name is Lila) to the jolly chap who waited on us, it was a fantastic experience.
I can't recommend this place enough and if I could give 6 stars I would.
